You can share your thoughts and opinions about my novels. I will appreciate your suggestions and criticisms so i can further enhance my craft. I am still a newbie here guys so I’m aware there a lot out there that I need to learn. Though I had my own share of problems and struggles, it may not match yours, right? So I still not that ripe when it comes to experience. Let’s learn something from each other. Let’s build a symbiotic relationship. And oh well, if you have requests, please don’t hesitate to ask. I might not be able to answer it but I’ll try. Or we can solicit help to look for solution. We always have an option, never forget that.

I check this site everyday and update it from time to time. I’m a perennial internet addict guys, same like you… haha! so we’ll often see each other here. I’m fond browsing the internet, read Hollywood gossips courtesy of www.perezhilton.com and www.tmz.com, mind you I check this websites everyday! That’s how addict I am! hehehe… I’m also a sucker of magazines. I always buy an issue every month, this is to satisfy my craving for showbiz. I don’t have a tv set, cuz if I have, it steals my free time from writing. Not a good idea, isn’t it? And to think that I have my fulltime job; I write during my restdays and spare time. I also paint and do a lot of other stuff in betweens. There’s also my family, and of course my friends! It was hard to manage time, but then again, it all boils down to time management.  But I do read a lot so I buy books and magazines.

There’s one important thing I am grateful for this website; I gained a lot of friends! Friends who stood by me on my problems and who shared my happiness! I was so blessed, I know and I’m really thankful of it. I have problems others may falter, but with the help of you dear friendships, I am strong enough to face it. The support was very overwhelming it amazes me! Though some of you I do not know personally, but the bond that binds us together was unbelievable! Though sometimes I suck, just a thought about you made me realize I’m lucky afterall. You made my life special guys. You inspire me to write more novels. This is the best medium I know to express myself. As I am not a person of words in real life. I am careful of the words I utter. Less talk, less mistakes, ayt?

I will continue writing stories that will both inspire us. Though you give me a lot of pressure to write stories better than the latter. But no, I am not complaining. I accept your challenge, haha! And this is the only way I can express how happy I am for having friends like you; how you enjoyed reading my novels.

Hi Guys! I made a forum for us. This is a forum where our aspiring Tagalog writers can post their written stories for the public to read. Their novels will be exposed to the public, wherein readers can make constructive criticisms and evaluation. Ito ay para malaman ng ating mga nahihiya pang manunulat na merong gustong magbasa sa kanilang mga isinusulat. The readers can also point out what part these writers should need to work on to to improve their craft. Dito ako nagsimula. I made this website and posted my stories kahit hindi pa nga tapos ang ilan. Marami akong nakuhang papuri at pagpuna na nagbigay sa akin ng malaking tulong para ipagpatuloy ang pagsusulat at pagpapalago sa aking talento. Writer’s Galore

Hey guys I have permed my hair… I was looking for a new look and at the same time will save me money, hehehe… well, we have economic recession everywhere so I also have a very tight budget. And after deep thinking and critical decision,I settle down to the idea of perming my hair at home. I bought the perming solution and curlers and swosh! right after one hour, I have my brand new curly hair. Honestly, I’m enjoying the attention I’m getting, hehehe… which I feel I look better with curly hair. Most said it suited me and I looked like a doll… whoah! and curly hair gave me personality which is not easily seen in ordinary looks. and since my hair is long, the curls went smoothly pretty. I love my new hair…. but just for fun, what do you think? What is your verdict? Thank you for participating

Working with MSV was a very pleasurable experience. Actually, personal kong nakausap si Ms. Apple and Ms. Edith, the editor in chief and they are so heartwarmingly friendly. Kaya nga nagustuhan ko ang MSV. I cherished the wonderful moment.

I want to say thank you to MSV for giving me a chance to become a full pledge writer, for publishing my novels. I treated it as a milestone when I finally become a writer; when people have read my novels; when I received great comments from readers who turned out to be my treasured friends. I cannot express how thankful I am. Words cannot surpass my gratitude. You will be forever in my heart.

It does not mean that I’m writing for Love Match now, I will forget MSV. No it will not be that way. I wish to work with you again in the near future. The people that I have met, especially MSV writers will remain my great friends. MSV will remain my fortress.

Moving on means not looking back. Moving on means only broadening my horizon. I believe that God has planned this thing for me. So I can fulfill my passion… my dreams… my ambitions.

Years ago, I dreamed to become a writer. I really love reading a lot. I’m abookworm. And I thought being a writer is a pretty cool career. But found out that it was not… hehehe… Now that I’m a writer, I know how it is to become one. I know what are their sentiments, especially for newbies like myself.

Writing is a very rewarding profession. I never regretted that I did write because I’ve met a lot of wonderful people. I gained a lot of friends. I’ve met fellow writers too. But then, it aint financially rewarding. My goodness, mas malaki pa ang kinikita ko sa CallCenter kesa sa pagsusulat. But I never have regrets that I am a writer. I have lots of responsibilities that I need to earn and work hard for money so I multitasked. I worked and wrote novels. But I aint a superwoman… huhuhu… but then I tried. Kaya naman kapag masyado nang busy, hindi na ako nakapagsusulat.

It is really hard to write a manuscript. You invest everything, effort, time and all for a story that may or may not be accepted by your publisher. MSV is already in the business for more than ten years. They had published a lot of novels and had gone through thousands of scripts. And for business purposes, they do not publish novels with similar plots. Kaya ang mangyayari, hindi nila ipa-publish ang iyong nobela kapag meron ng nauna. Kahit pa mas maganda ang sa iyo. It might conflict their business interest.

When I write, I don’t really think of plots na hindi pa naisulat. Kasi ba naman there are a fishbowl of ideas ang thousands of writers are getting ideas from that small fishbowl. For me, a theme is not so important but the story itself, the characters and the exciting scenes. I exert more effort in involving my readers as though they are the main characters because that’s my goal. But a writer’s belief will not be a publisher’s belief as well. So I had passed novels with MSV and was returned because of similar plots. Kahit pa sabihin ni Miss Apple na maganda naman siya kaso nga lang marami na silang napublish na pareho ang theme, still it did not make it. Napatunayan ko iyon when I racked through some books of MSV in NBS and found out that there are similar plots. Sinuwerte nga lang kasi mas naunang magpass sa akin.

But well, it’s always that things happen in a reason. That there was really a thing called destiny. I found this awesome publisher that earned my respect and admiration. In one fateful day, I stumbled to Eve Montelibano’s website, have scanned her pages and read her novels and bang, I fell in love with her books! It was marvelous! She was really a one caliber writer with the mixture of class and sensuality. Her novels are exciting and the love scenes are amazing.. haha! And I found out that she had her own publishing house, so she was a writer publisher. And she is rich! (*wink!)

Love Match (the brand of her books)  is looking for writers and I got excited so I passed one. I passed Until Forever, the novel I dearly loved because of Mia… hehe… It was not actually rejected. May pinaparevise lang. But nawalan ako ng time at inspirasyon. I went home to Davao City and naging sobrang busy na ako. Tapos wala pang sariling computer. So I cannot focus on writing. What really attracted me with Love Match is the Royalty Payment… hehehe… So it means that you will get something out of your PB sale in case marami bibili ng novel mo no matter if you’re a newbie or isa ng batikang manunulat. Unlike in other publishing house na mura lang ang bayad at kelangan pa na magsulat ka muna ng napakatagal (like for eternity… haha) and you have bestseller books, saka pa lamang lalaki ang TF mo. Which is so frustrating for a pulubi person like me.

So I emailed Eve and passed Until Forever. I made a follow up email after a week, wala lang nangulit lang ako, if meron na bang resulata iyong ipinasa ko. Usually it may take 2-3 weeks for a manuscript to be evaluated. But I received her reply with just more than a week. Love Match has its own criteria in accepting a manuscript (pls click here) that Love Match aspiring writers needs to have.  And my goodness, Love Match has a reputation for Intensity 9 or scorching love scenes!!! I received a favorable reply but I need to revise the manuscript to fit Love Match Ideals.

So I did revise Until Forever. It was actually just the same plot with the insertion of some scenes and Micheal’s thoughts or point of view and most of all, refined the love scene and add another one.. haha!.. And I need to make the medium 50% English and 50% Tagalog with cosmo, sassy and hip language. Love Match already carved a niche of elite market and is more expensive compare to other PBs. More than times two ang price kesa sa MSV. So hindi pwedeng so so lang ang novel mo. Dapat to the max talaga ang ganda!

I passed the revision and Eve answered ardently. After four days, I received her response and I felt so proud of myself for the first time. I was just expecting a so-so evaluation basta okay na siya. But Eve said she was impressed. And the manuscript is very good now. hehe… ang lapad ng smile ko. Coming from a high caliber bestseller author, I can just shook my head in disbelief. But I am jubilant of course. This was it. Another chapter of my life… another level of my writing career.

At isa pang gusto ko sa Love Match is the writer friendly policy and a writer friendly treatment. You will receive the result of your manuscript along with its evaluation. You will see where is your weak points that you need to work out with. No wonder because the publisher is a writer herself.

This is one of the amazing places that Davao boasts of… Samal Island… where you can bask at white sanded beach with clear green water… ahhh!!!! Marvelous! So I did not miss the chance to capture the breathtaking scenery with my loviedoves and friends.

Aside from writing I also paint. Years ago, it was just a hobby, an expensive hobby to be exact. Painting materials with good quality are not actually cheap.  And I’m particular with the colors and pigments I use. Good paintings and portraits go along well with quality paint materials so to speak.

This year I want to tap my talent to earn extra money. So I come up with this idea. Mind you, I have so many respinsibilities and I need money… hehehe…  if this will go well, I am planning to launch a scholarship program that will provide financial assistance to poor and deserving students in depressed areas. I will start with elementary level first, maybe shoulder the tution fee of about five students. I really would like this project to flourish into a big one where it can support plenty of students. Then time will come that I can put up a school. I hope I can meet people who would like to be a part of this dream as well.

Oh well, Lets go back to business. I am now accepting painting orders online. You can request a picture of you to be painted, or a picture of your loved ones, or any person you wanted to give a painting as a gift. You can email me the pictures that I will paint, preferably clear pictures with good quality. Then i will ship the finish product to you. It may take about two weeks for your painting to be done. Before I will ship it I will show you the scan copy first, if you would like to have improvements, it may take for another five days to do it. Its only improvements, no overall painting redo please. Anyways, I always have the picture as a reference.
